ALL-ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. London, June 27. In the semi-finals of the All-England championship singles, Beals Wright beat A. Lowe, li—3, 3-0, G—l, o—l. Wilding beat Parke, 7—5, C—l, o—2. There is intense interest in the meeting between Wilding and Wright tomorrow. HOW PAKKEE SERVES. Mr. W. L. Puxley, writing in the latest "Sporting and Dramatic News" (London) on t.ho serves of great tennis players, says of Mr. 11. A. Parker, of Wellington:—"Xl. A.-Parker has a curious twist} , service, whereby he was able lo obtain victories last year ovot most of his antagonists; and' only the few who reached the final rounds were able to meet him. He strikes t.ho ball on the wrong side, causung it to 'top-spin , in the air, and it seems impossible to lake it until it has touched the ground—when it shoots sideways; but this stroke, which it is said he discovered by accident, wears him down pretty fast, and during a Ions; five-sot match he cannot hold out to tho end. his serves losing more and more of tho &iiin as the match proceeds."
