Perth, June 27. t The Acting-Premier (Mr. Wilson) addressing the Chamber of Commerce, referred to the procrastination of the Commonwealth over tho construction, of a trans-Australian railway. Mr. Wilson announced that he had submitted a proposal to South Australia— that if 6he will build, her portion of tho line, Western Australia' will build hers, independent of the Commonwealth. MR. FISHER'S VIEWS. COMMONWEALTH FAVOURABLE TO THE LINE. (Rec. June 28, 0.35 a.m.) Melbourne,- , June 27. Mr. Andrew Fisher, the Federal Prime Minister, states that the Commonwealth intends as soon as possiblo to carry out the construction of the Trans-Australian railway. The Government, he says, is willing to co-operate with Western Australia in the construction of ti.2 line.
