The men stato that they will not accept a lower scale of wages than is paid in tho United States east of Chicago. The Canadian Pacific Railway employees have issued aJi ultimatum. They had demajtdod a 123 per cent, increase, and were awarded 0' and 15 per cent. They stato that unless their demands are conceded a strike will be declared at ton o'clock to-morrow. Tho position is causing the gravest anxiety.
