Corbctt said Sullivan was not welcome, and Jeffries would not sbako hands with him. Sullivan is accused of "roasting" Jeffries, and nnitual friends have been unable to patcli up the quarrc-1. Johnson reached Rcrio on Friday last. He did a little work during the last three days. On account of tho transfer of his camp from San Francisco, he says much work is unnecessary. Ho is in good condition. Johnson has settled his financial difficulties with his former manager (Little), the sum involved being fifteen thousand dollars (about £3000). He has sold his share in tho moving picture, rights for fifty thousand dollars (£10,000). Jeffries has done the same, while Rickard (one of the fight promoters) sold his share for twenty-five thousand dollars (£5000). Tho Governor of Nevada is expected to arrive at Reno on Tuesday next, to confer with the fight promoters. There is no danger of interference on the part of the authorities. ATTELL DEFEATS MORAN. GOVERNOR SAYS NO INTERFER- • EXCE IN BIG FIGHT. (Rec. June 26, 5.5 p.m.) New York, June 26. Abe Attell defeated Owen Moran in toil rounds at Los Angeles, California. The police did not interfere with tho fixture. Mr. D. S. Dickerson, Governor of Novada, has informed "Tex" Rickard, chief promoter of tho Johnson-Jeffries fight, that he will not interfere with the holding of the fight at Reno.
