SJIOICK CONCERT. ' Tho first of a series of winter concorts arranged in connection with tho Wellington Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association was hold last evening, and was a successful function. Jlr. 11. C. T«wsloy (president) was in the chair, and the Prime Jlinister (Sir Joseph Ward) was present. A concert stage having been erected for tlio convenient holding oi' theso social evening!.-,, the musical programme was thoroughly enjoyed by tho large gathering. Those who contributed items were*. —Messrs. It. A. Iveegan, Absolum (Orphans' Club), J. Dykes, A. W. Newton, T. H. Brown, K. J. Ilill, D. A. Kenny, Black (Auckland), Hudson, J. U. Turnbull, Jleo, Andrews, C. W. Tanner, Marcus Marks, Chambers, Ambrose, H. Mayer,' Roland T. Robertson, and T. K. Thompson. An orchestra played a number of selections which found ready accoptaneo.
