The barometer hag fallen nearly a tliird of an inch in the southern districts, but has mado littlo movement furthor north. Moderate and variable winds have prevailed and fine weather except about East Capo. Present indications aj-e for freshening northerly winds, increasing cloudiness, and a change in tho woathcr shortly southward of New Plymouth and Napier, with a falling barometer.
