GOOD WORK AT HOME.
SETTLEMENT OP A DISPUTE. A tribute was paid to tho good work dono by the Homo agent of tho Dairy Association and his staff, during a discussion at tho annual meeting of tho association yosterday. ' Tho secretary, Mr. J. G. Harkness, remarked that a dispute between a factory and a certain firm had como under his notice. About £300 was involved, and tho factory very wisely sent Home to the London agents of tho association a power of attorney to inquire into the matter. Last Saturday, ho (Mr. Harkness) had received a cable authorising him to pay to tho factory concerned the sum of £275, and thai was tho end of the dispute. (Applause.) It was mentioned during the discussion that 55 members of the association contributed to the Home Agents' Fund.
