Put a quart of red haricot beans into Bonk overnight, and put a little piece of soda in the water to soften it. Then put the beans on to boil in there quarts of water with some carrot, celery, and onion. After they aro tender, pound them in a mortar, and then rub them all through a sieve, after removing the carrot, celery, and onion. Add one teaspoonful of pounded sugar and about 2oz. butter. Fried or toasted bread should be served'with this .soup. FOR. TO-MORROW. Celery, stock, cold , mutton, onion, 'npple, curry powder, chutney, lemon, pumpkin, stale bread, one egg, raisins.
