SUPREME COURT SITTINGS.
v —9 - (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Creymouth, June'2l. Mr. Justice Sim opened the Supreme Court sessions this morning. There are only two charges—one of assault and robbery, and another of entering a brewery and theft of beer on Sunday, March' 2. A breach of promise case is set down for to-morrow. The Grand Jury presented a strong representation as to the inadequate accommodation for conducting the business of the Supremo Court; and the judge undertook to forward it to the Government. Napier, June 21. The Supreme Court was opened today by Mr. Justice Edwards. Thero was : a very light calendar No bills wero found against James Stranghton Sam,. Teo Karepa, and Kate Karepa, charged with, manslaughter at Wairoa. His Honour severely cautioned Sam, a Chinese doctor. Frederick Borgerson was sentenced to one year's imprisonment for shopbreaking in Waipawa. ' • John Peterson, 'for a similar offence, was admitted- to' probation for twelve monthsi
