Christensen, ex-Premier of Denmark, who was ordered by the Danish Folkething (House of Commons) to be prosecuted on charges of complicity, of , the colossal frauds of M. Alberti, ex-Minister for Justice, amounting to nearly ,£i;00O,O00, has been acquitted. , The Court strongly disapproved of M. Christensen's conduct while in office. M. Berg was fined iCS, or in default sixty days' imprisonment, for not investigating M. Alberti's defalcations as Director of the Zealand Peasants' Savings Bank when suspicion first arose.
