Mr. Asquith, Lord Loreburn (Lord Chancellor), Mr. Balfour, and Lord Lansdowne met and agreed io a conference with regard to the question of limiting the veto of the House of Lords. The first, sitting will probably be held on Wednesday. NEW CABINET APPOINTMENT. BUDGET THIS MONTH. . London, June 16. It is officially announced that Earl Beauchamp, lately Lord Steward and formerly Governor of New South Wales, will succeed Lord Wolverhampton (resigned) as Lord President of the Council. The Budget will be brought down during the last week of the presentmonth.
