THE EXPRESS SERVICE. (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.} Palmerston, June 17. It is understood that, commencing on July 1, the Aueklaml-Wcffington express will leave Auckland aEout 8.15 p.m., instead of 9.15 p.m., Tauma-ru-nui 3.34 a.m., Ohakune G. 30 a.m., Taihape 8.30 a.m., and Palmerston North 11.40 a.m., arriving ill Wellington aboui 3 p.m. [Inquiry in official quarters last night failed to disclose uuy intention on tho part of the Department to alter the time-table as suggested above.]
