CONDITIONS OF AMNESTY.

The Consul-Geneml for Belgium (the Hon. C. J. Johnston) has received from tho Minister for Foreign Affairs, BrussoHs, the full text of the Law. of March, 1910, made on tho occasion of tho accession of his Majesty King Albert, which grants amnesty to Belgian army .defaulters and deserters. Belgian subjects wishing to avail themselves of the Law of Amnesty must present tliemselv&s to the local Consul within a period of.two years, and fullll certain formalities, 'fhe text of tho law may ha inspected at the. office of the Consul-General, caro of Messrs. Johnston and Co., Ltd., Featherstan Street, Wellington.
