A RUN AT OTAKI. A very enjoyable meeting of the Otaki Hunt Club took place on Saturday.at Mr. J. M'Donald's property at Heatherlea, when tho following took , part:— Mr. J. U. G. .Tamieson, on Block Patch, and Mr. jM'Ewcn, on Pul.ui, both mounts being good jumperß. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. J. R, M'Donald ami the Misses M'Donald, and was much appreciated. Among the followers were no fewer than fifteen from Palmerston and Longbiirn, all of whom had good jumpers and rode well. It was remarked by sonic of these I hat tho conrre was one of tho best which they had ever limited over. r THE WAIRARAPA ' CLUB. , (From Our Special CorresDondent.i Mastorton, June 13. The Wairarapa Hunt Club held n most enjoyable run over (he properties of Messrs. Guy and Erl Williams, at Tc Parae, on Saturday. The fences included some natural hedges and ditches, the water jump hei»g specially good. There ivere several falls, but none attended with serious consequences. Luncheon wns provided aI. To i'lirae, ami afternoon tea at Mr. Guy Williams's house. Tho drag was laid by Mr. C. F. Vallance on "Dreamy Daniel." Mr. F. B. Vallance, who rode "Country Girl," acted as master, in tho absence, through illuuse, of Mr. Buick.
