HIGH WHOLESALE PRICES IN AMERICA. By Tcletraph—Press -Association— Oopyrieh* (Rec. June 13, 10 p.m.) London, June 13. The New York correspondent- of the "Daily Mail"' reports that, owing to the shortage, tho wholesale price of beef is 7Jd. per lb. Carcasses are not exposed in the slaughter-houses,.. and butchers are obliged to order meat without selection.
