DOLL'S DRESSMAKING.
It is an old idea to' teacli little girls sewing by means of doll's clothes, but it has been left i'or a woman in New York to make a business of it, and she finds it very lucrative. Her little pupils are from G to 0 years of age, .and take their lessons very seriously, for on their ovni fingers depends the outfit of their dollies. And the little fingers, inspired by love and pride in their waxen .babies, learn to hom' and fell and cut skirts and coats from tiny paper patterns.. Each little pupil has her own little sewing basket, and her own memorandum book, and the teacher regularly takes her class for a morning's shopping, to that they may learn the value of materials and understand how to keep an account of what is spent. The little girls enjoy it all thoroughly, and are quite unconscious that they are receiving very good training for the time when they will have- to dress themselves on their own allowances.
