SUDDEN DEATH.
' A RETIRED CIVIL SERVANT. A retired civil 'servant, Mr. William Tiller, a mail of. about 65. years of age, dropped dead yesterday morning when about to enter the house of his daughter, .Mrs. Davis, of St. Mary Street, off Tinakori Road, Deceased had come into town from his residence ■at Epuni Hamlet, Lower Hutt, oil a visit to his daughter,. ajicl had just reached the front gate of the house when he was 'overcome by . a heart attack and dropped dead.. Dr. Henry was called in, and pronounced life extinct. Deceased had been attended by Dr.- Hector for some years for heart disease, and the doctor, being prepared to give a certificate as to the cause of death, no inquest will be held. Deceased waa born in Waterford, and in his early days served .in the British Army. Thirty years ago he came out to Wellington, and worked as' a tinsmith for tin? Public Works Department, and also for the' Gear Meat Company. Owing .to heart trouble, ho had to give up his trade, and lie theh went ,to reside oil his farm at the Hutt. Deceased leaves a family of two soils and three, daughters. He. was a brother of Mr. Goo. Tiller, of Wellington.
