Meanwhile, German and Austrian newspapers, by alleging that Sir Edward Grey (British Secretary for Foreign Affairs) is only considering Hellenic dynastic .interests, have inflamed many Turkish papers against Britain, [King George of Greece is brother of the Queen Mother Alexandra, which fact is, no doubt, being made use .of by the German and Austrian press. The Mos; lem members of Hie Cretan Assembly have been assaulted and tyrannised over by the Hellenic majority.]
