Auckland, Juno !)„ Burglars visited the residenco of JJr. Parkes between threo and five o'clock yesterday afternoon, and stole jewellery valued at .£6OO. The doctor was out afa the time, but Mrs. Parkes was at home.Sho heard a noiso made by someoM moving about tho house, but her suspicions were uot aroused till she wont upstairs to her room, and saw that :omo intruder had been there. Two of the diamond rings stolen were valued at «Sl5O each. Three gold watches, and a quantity of other jewellery were also?, taken. "
