A resolution was carried by the Wagga Labour League in favour of substituting a Federal lottery for Tattersall's sweeps. The resolution was submitted to the Federal Prime -'Minister (Mr. Fisher), who replied that he had more important matters to deal with, and that it was not. worth while bothering about the proposal. •-
