THE ARAHURA. A telegram received by the Union Company states that the Arahura arrived at Grcymouth at 10 a.m. yesterday, and was to sail on the evening tide for Westport, Nelson, Picton, and Wellington. She is due hero to-morrow night. MAMARI,,.FROM LONDON. A Press Association telegram from Christclmrch states that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's Mamari, from London direct, 40 days out. for Lyttelton, passed Nuggets at 1.45 p.m. yesterday, aud is due at Lyttelton at noon to-day. HTJIA, FROM KAIPARA. Included in yesterday's arrivals was the auxiliary schooner ITuia, with the usual consignment of limberi from Kaipara. She left the northern port at noon on Saturday, and made a smart run down tho coast, experiencing smooth seas, but thick weather. She will probably continue to Lyttelton this evening. FIFESHIRE'S OUTWARD CARGO. A large cargo was taken from New Zealand ports by the Fcderal-llouldcr-Shiro liner Fifeshire, which left Lyttelton last week for West of England ports. Still barbound at Grcymouth is the predicament of the Poherua and the Kamoua. Both these vessels aro too heavily laden to cross the bar in it* present state. Tho Flora was towed out to s<a yesterday after several days' detention at Gr.eymouth. Advice received by the Marine Department states that the Government steamer llincmoa was at Capo Maria van Diemen yesterday, but tho weather was too bad to permit of her working. When the Kolmdale has discharged her cargo of Nowcastlo coal at Wanffanui, sho is to proceed to Kaipara to load timber for Wellington,
Mr. F. C. Ronalds has rejoined the Hauroto. as chief engineer, Mr. C. J. Slycho has signed off as third engineer, and the acting-chief and acting-second have- resumed their former positions as second and third. Captain Dowell resumed command of the Huia yesterday, after, sick leave, and Captain Hurt, who has boon relieving;, will rejoin the Moa. Mr. J. M'Convillc, fourth engineer of the Maori, signed off the vessel yesterday. .At 7 o'clock last night, the Westport Coal Company's Regulus passed Wellington Heads, bound east.
