ST. JOHN AMBULANCE NURSES.

The monthly meeting of the District Nursing Guild Committee, held yesterday afternoon, was attended by Mrs. K. A. Rhodes (president), Mesdames Tripe, Sefton, Moorhpuse, Luke, C'orrigau, Preston, and Fisher. The 'senior nurse 'submitted the report-for May, from which it was gathered- that Nurses' Sextdu'and Macandrew paid 932 visits to the sick poor. Sixteen additional- patients were registered, 8 discharged, 3 sent to the general hospital, and 1 to the Victoria Hospital. One death occurred during the month.--A letter was .received from a district patient expressing her gratitude for' kindness and attention received during a 'severe illness.
