Tuson, whoso term -of engagement as Adjutant and Quartermaster-General of the Forces nominally expired recently, will, it is understood, cany on the duties of his late chief, until Colonel Tuson's appointment becomes vacant—officially vacant. He is now en route to England. In consequence of the recent re-arrange-ment of tlie duties scheduled for each, member of the General Staff, the responsibilities of the Adjutant and Quar-termaster-General have been curtailed to some extent. Ho is not now a member of tho Council of Defence.
