Iu an interview with Mr. ,T. 3fcy, of Manitoba, that gentleman explained his object was to visit the various centres of education, and the more "important cities and towns of the United Kingdom, to make arrangements for the visit of some 180 school teachers. This large party will leave Montreal in the Allan liner Virginian on July 8, and on arrival hero will follow the itinerary Mr. Ney is now arranging. Of the 180 teachers "only one or two have yet seen the "Old Home Country," though nearly all have relations in some part of the "Home" land whom they have never seen. The movement has the highest patronage, including that of Lord Strathcona and Mount Itoyal. ■ ' • The K.M.S. Toncariro will sail from the Glasgow Wharf to-day at noon for London ' direct.
