FEILDING NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent. Messrs. Kidd and Carey have been appointed commissioners of the Kiwitea School. The secondary pupils at the. Marton District High School propose, taking the course of agricultural- instruction as outlined by the Wanganui Education Board. The following were elected a school committee at Kakariki:—Messrs. R. Russell, P. A. Peterson, N. P. Neilsen, A. Kreegher, and Win. Ferguson (chairman). Councillor Pirani, who has been elected to the Borough Council, has given notice of tho following two mo-tions:—-(1) "That a committee bo set up to consider and report on the feasibility of setting aside Victoria Park as a site for an agricultural college, suitable provision being made for the use o.f the oval for athletic purposes." (2) "That a committee be set up to report to the council on the best steps to be taken for the erection of a gymnasium in Feilding, and the site most suitable for the purpose."
