BOARD AND COMMITTEE. In a further reference to the subject of school Bible lessons, the Jfnsterton School Committee, writing to the Wellington Education Board yesterday, stated that the present committee had been elected on the understanding that it would do all in its power to bring about the introduction in New Zealand of what is known as the Nelson system. The board decided that it must adhere to its former decision in the matter, the chairman observing that they were administering the system on a purely secular basis.
