Fowlds, Minister for Education, intended taking up his permanent residence in Wellington and standing for a Southern constituency at the next general election was referred ■by an Auckland "Herald" representative to Mr.'.Fowlds on Saturday. "I have not the slightest intention of taking up my permanent residence in Wellington," answered the Minister, "and I have too faithful a constituency in Grey Lynn to vrant to change it for any other, so that I can give the rum. our an emphatic denial. In any case I.would have to go alone to live in Wei-' lington, because Mrs. Fowlds would not . agree to leave Auckland."
