(From Our Sncclal CorresDondcnt.i 0— The doors closed 011 tlio Hutt and Petono Citizens' Band Japanese Fair on Saturday night. Generally speaking the fair has been successful, and the funds of the band should be considerably augmented. The art union in connection with tho fair is to be drawn in 'a week or two.

To-morrow night tho Lower Hutt people ■ will be given'an opportunity of witnessing the Petono Hockey Entertainers, 'who, it will bo remembered, gave a successful performance in Petono a month ago. Mr. J. Culford Bell, v/itli Miss Ellen Jensen, will appear in a clover sketch. Tho proceeds are to' bo devoted to the funds of the Ilutt Recreation Club.'
