4 THE DUTIES ON WOOLLEN AND COTTON GOODS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. May 29, o p.m.) London, May 28. Tho Huddcrsfield Chamber of Commerce has decided to urge tho Government to strive to induce Japan to reduce the proposed tariff on woollen, worsted, and cotton goods, some of the duties equalling 400 per cent.
