. THE PATTENS LOSE £500,000. By Telegraph—Press Assocfation—Copyright (Rec. May 29, 5 p.m.) London, May 28. Mr. James Patten on the eve of his retirement was compelled to abandon a big deal in September wheat, losing £300,000. Mr. George Patten and Mr. Bartlett Patten dropped £200,000.
