Willinm O'Brien (leader of tho Independent Irish Parliamentary Party) and supporters of the Nationalist (Redmomlite) Party. The police were powerless to stop tho disturbances, and a number of houses were wrecked. Finally, the police fired on the crowds, a man being shot dead during the fusillade.
