In tenuis New South Wales defeated fßctoria by thirteen rubbers, twentyBeveii seta, two hundred and forty-six games, to eight rubbers, twenty sets, -twohundred and twenty-two games. The play was consistently good, Brookes and Heath especially being brilliant. They won all their rubbers. In the singles Rico and Parker both lost to Brookes. In the former game the soores were 2—6 and 3—6; in the latter 4 —6 and I—6. In the doubles Parser and Rice lost to Brookes and Heatli i—2 —6, 3—6. Savers and Marsh also went down before them —11—13, 4—6. IWright and Jones wero also defeated — dr-6, 2-6.
