LIBEL ACTION.
AN ISLAND SCHOONER AND THE NATIVES. By Telcirraph—Press Association—Copyrient Brisbane, May 27. Captain Strachan, master of tho schooner Envy, has commenced •an action against the Brisbane Newspaper Company for alleged defamation. The case arises out of certain statements alleged to have been made by tho German Consnl-General reflecting en plaintiff's dealings with the natives of Tobi Island.
