CHRISTCHURCH COMPETITIONS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, Mav 23. The 'competitions were resumed this morning. In' the humorous recitation (gentlelllOll) recalls for the final were—J. A. Deveroaux, A. D Aitken, G. A. Hansard (Christchurch), and B. H. Hobday (Dunedin). In the contralto solo recalls for the final were—Misses' L. G. James (Dunedin), It. Cresswell (Christchurch), and C. Fernandos (Wellington). In the vocal duet the recalls foT the filial were—Miss Pitcher and Mr. E. Morgan (Dunedin),, Miss M. Jennings and Mr. F. Parsonson, and Miss A. Richardson and Mr. R. S. Allwright (Christchurch).
