"MESSAGE OF QUAKERISM."

4 AN ADDUESS. A lecture was given in the Y.M.C.A, rooms Inst evening by Mr. Samuel Clemea, of Ilobart, who dealt in an interesting manner with his subject, "The Message of Quakerism to the Needs of To-day." At the closo of tlio lecture the chairman, the liev. J". It. Glassou, called for questions froui the gathering, and in reply to one of these the lecturer remarked that lie did not sco any evidence that Capital and Labour, were joining together in that happy way that could bo desired. If Capital and Labour would accept his message it would be that they should listen to Jesus Christ, who woulll guide them properly. He did not know any argument that could be brought to the capitalist that could make him treat his employees more properly than by Christian appeal. The Jecturo concludcd with a hearty vote of thanks.
