THE HUNT.
. BUNS AT KIMBOLTON. Tho Manawatu Hunt Club had a couplo of splendid runs at Kimbolton on Wednesday afternoon. The weather was beautiful, and there was a big turn-out of both followers of the hounds and spectators. Mr. G. Shannon, master, was in charge, and Mr. D. Bennett, 'huntsman, again brought his pack out in fine condition. The drag was laid by Messrs. It. Taylor and A. Banks, over the properties of Messrs. J. Burns,' R. Stevens, Palmer, and M'Both Tho paddocks wore in lino order for the sport, and the afternoon's run was thoroughly enjoyed. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by tlio Misses Perry and Mrs. Palmer, and these ladies, and the property-owners were accorded, hearty votes of thanks by tho followers of tho lnrtit. Mr M Beth, ■ S pcakra ? on behalf of himself and the other property-owners, stated that they would be glad to welcome- tho Huiu Club at any time. Thirty new members gave in their, names during tho afternoon. . "
