Murray, Eoborts, and Co. re-port:-Our catalogue consisted of 60 bales of wool, of which a fair proportion was early crutchings, 2500 sheepskins, 250 hides, and 2 casks of tallow. The attendance of buyers was large, aud bidding very animated. Crutchinge, especially, wero in strong request, and light-conditioned parcels brought high prices. Wo can confidently recommend growers to forward consignments to this market. Hides and skins were in strong demand at prices equal to lato rates. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Blenheim, report holding their monthly wool, skin, and hide gale at Blenheim, on Tuesday loot, as follows:—We had a very nice cataloguo of about 1500 sheepskins, 40 hides, 18 bales wool, also quantity of bag wool and fat, all of which wo disposed of. Attendance of buyers was average, and prices realised wore as follow:—Sheepskins: Quarter-wools, crossbred, 4Jd- to 53d.; inferior, 31d.; half bred, 53d.; merino. 43d. to s}d.- half-wool, crossbred, 5Jd- to sid.; fine crossbred, 7d.; butchers' crossbred, 6d. to 7Jd.; halfbred, 61d. to fid.; merino, 55d.; three-quarter-wool, crossbred, 6Jd.; lino crossbred, 7}d.; halfbred, 7d.; full wool, fine crossbred, 7>.d.; half-wool, 73d.: merino, 6Jd.; lambs, sd. to 7Jd,; damaged crossbred, 5Jd.; double Oecccs, 5d.; black, 4d.; seedy. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report us follows:—There was Rood competition at the sale to-day, when wo submitted 30 bales and some bags of wool, and a fair-sized catalogue of skins, hides, and tallow. Buyers from South Island were amongst the usual operators, and we have to report a total clearance at rates fully up to last sales. Bidding vas brisk for everything offered, and prices remained on a, par with those ruins at last sales.
