The third-class cruiser Cambrian, 4360 tons, from Hobart, met with a severe handling during' a. gale at the end of last week. Big seas swept the vessel, flooding every part of her. She rolled almost on to her beam ends. A gun broke adrift, smashed a boat, and damaged others. Tho main topmast and the wireless telegraph gear were carried away during the storm.
