SURVEY OF DUNEDIN. Damage to the building amounts to <£100, and the stock suffered seriously from smoke and water. The outbreak appears to have been caused by a gas jet left burning in a cupboard. WOODWARE FACTORY BURNED. Taihape, May 14. Hollow's woodware factory was totally destroyed last night, nothing being saved. The origin of the fire is a - mystery. The insurances are £600 in tho Alliance office, £500 in the Commercial, and £300 in the Sun. A valuable cat* lection of tools belonging to the employees was also destroyed.
