Berlin, May 13< ' The Kaiser and the Kaiserin attended a lecture given by ex-President Roosevelt at the Berlin University on the "Rise, Decline, and Rebirth of Civilisation." Mr. Roosevelt received a great ova- - tion. He incidentally mentioned that women' who are mothers are good housewives. ' He received the honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Master of i N Letters, which has not been granted for twelve years. |
