BEOOKLYN CLUB HANDICAP. The first race, in connection with the Brooklyn. Club will be hold on Saturday afternoon, at the Hutt Park, over a distance, of a':, mile and a half, for novices only. After 1 the race the usual club run will be held. The train leaves Lambton Station at 1.20.

BOWLS,
The match which was to have been played on Saturday last between the Kelburne and/ Karori Clubs, but which was postponed owing to tho death of the King, will take place on Saturday noxt, on the Kelburne green. The following teams will play for Kelburne;—Coull, Carter, Jameson. Williamson (s.); White, Buckeridgo, Littlejohn, Barber (s.)j Hamerton, jun.. Gray, J.
