MANAWATU CLUB RUN. (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) ■ Palmerston, May 12. The Manawatu Hunt Club held a snecessful run at Fitzherbert East yesterday afternoon over the properties of Messrs. Lancaster, Anderson, and Ible. A feature of the meet was the riding of Miss Angus on Kakn. This young lady assisted to lay the drag, and. took the fences, which were particularly stiff, in splendid style. Afternoon tea was served at the residence of Mr. S. R. Lancaster by Mfsdames Lancaster and Shaw, these ladies being accorded a hearty vote of thanks, as also were the property-owners, who had not only placed their paddocks at the disposal of the olub, but had erected the jumps.
