The Kaiser, visiting the Enlperor William Memorial Church in Berlin, congratulated the organist on his playing, and addressed him as -'Professor. The organisf, who was really a plain "Mr.," thanked the Kaiser for his praise and for thenew title. "What, title?" Good-bye, Professor.' , Next day the hew professor received an official daoutuciit conferring tho title on liiin.^ Little Elmer: "Pupa, what - is--polite-ness?" Professor Broadhend: "Politeness, my son, is the art of not letting other people ]uwv whot you really think of them." Many a man, when he leaves the house, finds it difficult , to remember what his wife tells him not to forget, more especially !i'f it is to remember to come home early. \ :
