ANNIVERSARY SERVICES., tho twenty-second anniversary of the Courtenay Place Congregational Church was celebrated yesterday in a series of special services, all of which were attended by large congregations. Tho preacher in the morning, was the Rev. W. A. Evans, in tho afternoon tho Rev. J. Reed Glasson, and iri the evening the Rev. M'Donald Aspland. Tho singing of the choir, under Mr. T. Forsyth; was a special feature of the services. . . Tho annual report of the pastor and deacons, to bo presented at the annual meeting to be held on Wednesday evening, states that there-is much to caiiso gratitude in a retrospect of the year. It had been distinguished for the steady maintenance of interest-' and effort, faithful performance of duty, and u cheerful recognition of responsibility. The thanks of members were also duo to Messrs. T. Forsyth and J. Thawley for acting as organists during the yenr. Mrs. Martin Williams had again roudf-red valuable service to the church. She had arranged a concert, which had resulted in a, substantial amount being handed over to the Home Mission Fund.
