THE MAPOURIKA.
A telegram received by tho Union Com- ! pany states that the Mapourika left Greymouth at 8 a.m. yesterday on the return journey to Westport, Nelson, and Wellington. As she is timed to lea-ve Nelson at 7 o'clock this morning she should reach Wellington about 4 o'clock this afternoon. KIA OKA'S OUTWARD CARGO. A large cargo was taken from New Zealand ports by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's Kia Ora, which left Wellington for London yesterday . evening. A summary of the lines lifted at the different ports is as follows:—From Auckland— 120 bales wool, 15 cases cocoa, 384 sack 3 copra, 1079 sacks home, 49 casks pelts, 1 bales rags, 1652 cases kauri gum, 2 cases lomon peel, 27. packages sundries, 32 carcasses pork, 9169 carcasses lamb, 393 carcasses mutton, 400 quarters beef, 3207 ingots hard spelter, 306 packages zinc dross, 17 cases New Caledonian gum, 1167 bales hemp, 13 bales leather, 474 pieces kauri timber, 265 dumps tow, 211 cask 3 tallow, 231 bales flax. From Gisborno—ll,l3o carcasses mutton, 2412 carcasses lamb, 210B' quarters beef, 350 cases preserved meats, 238 casks tallow, 108 casks pelts, 378 bales wool. From Napier—4o eask3 premier jus., 15 casks, 7 cases and 44 packages casings, 101 casks pelts, 262 casks tallow, 63 bale 3 tow, 157 bales wool, 3325 carcasses mutton, 4498 carcasses lamb, 67 cases tegs, 1395 quarters beef, 200 cases frozen kidneys. From Lyttclton—3os6 carcasses mutton, 6300 carcasses lamb. ICO .casks preni. jus. From Dunedin—l32 bales wool, 42 bales rabbitskins, 2 bales horsehair. From BlulF— 622 bales wool, 20 bales sheepskins, 18 bales rabbitskins, 1 bale hair; 270 casks tallow, 11 casks, pelts, 701 cases preserved meats, 240 sacks fescue, 20 cases meat extract, 174 bales tow. From Timaru-790 bales wool, 208 casks oleo, 39 bales sheepskins, 15,291 carcasses lamb, 10,519 carcasses mutton, 170 crates frozen kidneys, 150 casks preni. jus., 10 boxss sweetbreads. From Wellington— 11,694 carcasses lamb. 6175 carcasses mutton, 992 haunches mutton, 3 bags legs mutton. 231 bags shoulders mutton, 26 crates frozen kidneys.
Tho Scales chartered steamer Evandale is due from Lyttelton this morning. She fills up at this port, and will then bo dispatched for London. Mr. J. Devlin, third officer of the Wimmcra, has transferred to the Ulimaroa. Mr. P. R. Cooper has joined the Wimmersb as. fourth officer. Assistaut-lightkcoper Marlow will transfer from Mocraki to Cuvicr .Island Lighthouse, and Mr. Duncan will go fromCuvier Island to Moeraki. An expected arrival 'to-day is the Kaituna, which brings a cargo of coal from Westport. She will be followed by the Kurow, due' to-morrow. The Maoriland Shipping Company's Ennerdale has left Auckland foT Kaipara tc load timber for Sydney. She later Roes to Grcymouth to fill up. Shippers are advised that the Arapawawill make a special trip to Wanganui, leaving at noon to-day.
