On the occasion of a large national gathering of Redmondite Nationalists on May 22, many farmers in sympathy with the O'Brienites (Independent Nationalists) will visit Cork in the interests of the All-for-Ireland League (of which Mr. O'Brien is the moving spirit). The Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, Colonel Seely, speaking at Henley-on-Thames, denounced the attempt to liken the probable fate of the monarchy to that of the Lords. Guest (Liberal member for-Dorset East, and third son of Lord Wimborne) on charges of bribery, treating, and undue influence. The petitioners accuse the "Wimborne family of intimidation,' and of making gifts in tho guise of charity. They charge Lady Wimborne with'lotting and selling land at absurdly generous prices to secure small holders' votes.
