PHYSICAL TRAINING.
The pupils of the YVellincton Tratnin# School .held a gala liiuht last, evening, when the'interesting routine of eserciscs was gone through by tho various classes in the presence of thc-ir parents and friends. The display was an exceptionally interesting one, capital work beins done by little mites of about eidit years of age, and by the intermediate and senior classes. Although the school has only covered , six weeks of tho present season, Hie 'membership is now 22U, a record for flio school. During yesterday evening's display opportunity was taken to pi'c-'Oi,t badges to the. leaders who had passed the examination entitling'' thorn to this rank. Badges were presented as under:—Misses Mansill, Murnliy (2), A.. Henry, ami Collins, Mr. W. T. Richards. Girls' classes: V. Aslior, H. White, Alma Henry. Edna Scott, and Rita Crane. Boys' class: R. Henry. J. Berry, Marshall, . Crane, and A. RonaUlson.
