The "Daily Chronicle" publishes under reserve a statement by the Italian Deputy Giovanni Micele (who is correspondent for the newspaper "II Secolo," Milan, in connection with the fighting in Albania) alleging shocking outrages on the part of tho Turkish t'roops. It is stated that Shevket Pasha's troops displayed against the Albanians all the ferocious bestiality of tho old Ottoman regime. Villages were burned, and women, and children were massaored. Albanian mothers, armed with old guns, fought in defence of their children.
