Hinemoa, points out that tho following corrections should bo made in tho "New Zealand Pilot," eighth edition, 1908, viz.— On page ISO under heading "Kainoki Rock' Bhould read "Buoy." A red cask buoy, not spar buoy, marlis tho rock. Page 193. Hapuka Reef: Beacon mentioned as marking reef has been away for some time and not re-established. Pago 223. Aotea Harbour: Beacons mentioned on south side of the river have boon burnt down and not re-established. Pago 2/9. Murray River: Native settlement' has been abandoned. Page 283. Port Adventure: Native village abandoned. Page 304. Resolution Island: Resident Government Official dispensed with. ■ Page 307. Omapcro Hock: This rock is marked by a black cask buoy. Pago 314. Milford Sound: Mooring-buoy is tho property of-the New Zealand Government, not as stated belonging to tho Union Steam Ship Company.
