. MANAWATU CLUB..'.' :'. . _ The Manaw&tu Hunt Club will open its, season' with a run at Longburn on baturday.. The promoters of the club expect, that the. membership 'will total" between two and three hundred this year. Hounds have, been obtained from Auckland, Pahiatua, and Christchurch, and a brace of. hounds has also been donated to tho club by. Mr; A.' Mitchell, of Longburn, ex-master of the cluli. Tho newlyapointed huntsman, Mr. D. .Bennett, is getting the pack into first-rate condition, and no.doubt they will lead the'field at a merry paco. It is expected that a large number of .ladies will follow the hounds this season. . • .'
